Judgment Begins Under God's Authority

God in His sovereign holiness is going to bring judgment on the world, His chosen nation Israel to redemption, and His creation will be restored. With this chapter in Revelation, the last seven-year period, prophesied by Daniel, begins under God's full and complete authority. Severe judgment begins on the world of unbelievers as all believers have been caught up into the presence of God. Even during the foretold death and destruction God will use the times to save His chosen. The breaking of the seals, one by one, begin the judgments described as coming by announcement by one of the four living creatures pictured on a horse of a specific color reflecting the nature of the judgment forthcoming.
