The Bridegroom Provides Everything for His Church

The Bridegroom of the Church, having given Himself, His very body and blood to redeem us, will also nourish and cherish His people as His own body.
He has brought us into a great and glorious family; He has reconciled His Bride to His Father, and His Father dearly loves His Son's Bride. Indeed, it was His Father who first brought the Bride to the Son!
Christ the Bridegroom provides every good thing for His Church; He will not provide that which is harmful and not in the best interests of His people.
The Bridegroom has provided rich food for His Bride, for she feeds upon His very flesh and blood; her salvation and everlasting life depend upon what was done in the body and blood of her Beloved at Calvary.
The Lord's Table is a reminder of that Body and Blood upon which the Church is nourished and sustained, in which Her hope lies.
