500 Plus Community School | Introduction

The 500 Plus Community School continues the legacy of witness of the "five hundred brothers" who were witnesses to the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in 1 Corinthians 15:6. But they need to be equipped as witnesses; to be theologically able as true workmen to rightly divide the word of truth. This is the reason for providing these lectures. The introduction begins with Dr Moore's own personal journey. First called as an evangelist, pastor, he became principal of the Irish Baptist College and then Adjunct Professor of Emanuel University, Romania. He outlines in this introduction the value of enrolling in a Bible School. Examples of preparing others, particularly younger men are given from Scripture, e.g., Moses and Joshua, Barbabas and John Mark, Jesus and the twelve and Paul mentoring Timothy and Titus. Guidance is given as to how to enroll in the School and the themes to be covered in the first year.
