Leadership in the Church

God's plan for the church includes specific instructions for leadership and authority. The need for organization to avoid chaos and confusion that would undermine the purpose of the Church is most evident when the pattern given in the Scriptures is not applied. Man's ideas will not be appreciated by God nor will they accomplish what God so wills for each local church. Leadership guidelines include moral and maturity qualifications for the men who serve in leadership. They as everyone else in the local church must serve dependent upon the Spirit of God to guide and enable them in their roles.
