#22 The Curse is Reversed

As Christians we must think biblically about death. Death is a curse, not a blessing. Death is cruel, yet fallen men try to remove its sting by believing that the departed can hear their petitions, think the dead are in a "better" place or that the dead are still engaged in their favorite activities like golfing or cooking. For the Christian death remains an enemy, but one without teeth. And what happens after death? Where do we go? Do we have a body? What will heaven be like?
