Thou Whom My Soul Loveth
Series Song of Solomon
The Church addresses Christ as the One that her soul loves. The soul of all Christians are constrained to think of Christ in this way. For her distresses she wants nourishment and prays that He would lead her to spiritual nourishment and rest. Christ directs her where to go - to His undershepherds and the Church, to seek and follow the Old Paths, for they will lead her to Him.
