The Jerusalem Council - The Church's Response

The council determined to make their decree known by composing a letter and distributing it to the churches through an appointed delegation. Thus Paul and Barnabas returned to Antioch in the company of Silas and Barsabbas, leading men in the Jerusalem church sent by the council to affirm the letter and the instruction brought by Paul and Barnabas. When they arrived, the letter and its explanation were received by the Antioch saints with joy and strong encouragement. Now, with this crucial decision in place, the Church could move forward, unhindered in its mission to bring the gospel to all the nations.
