The Redeemer's Persevering Line

The account of civilization's development after the Flood resumes after the account of the Tower of Babel. In particular, the focus is on Shem, the son of Noah through whom the Redeemer would come into the world. It is a passage that draws much emphasis to the theme of God's sovereignty. It also reminds us that the purpose of God will stand, and that He will carry out all that He has purposed.
