Immanuel

This sermon examines the implications that Luke sets forth in these verses that Jesus is still acting and teaching in His Church through the Holy Spirit. We must realize that the Church is not of this world. Its origin is supernatural and heavenly. And so we are to live as those whose heart is set in heaven and let heaven's culture transform our way of thinking and doing. And since Jesus is present with the Church, our worship must refelct that.
