God's Message, Sweet & Bitter

Events leading up to the sounding of the seventh trumpet bring the timeline of the Tribulation to its midpoint. The last half finishes God's preparation for the establishment of the kingdom of His Son on the earth.

The fullness of the message previously given to the prophets is revealed in the rest of the revelation that was given to John. John was told to assimilate this message from God so he could be God's spokesman. John was given an earthly message for an earthly people that foretells the end of all earthly kingdoms of man.

Conclusions drawn in summarizing include:

1. The Sovereign Creator is behind the redemption of His creation.
2. The plans of God revealed to prophets in the Old Testament will be carried out.
3. The Word of God is to be assimilated into the hearts and minds of His people.
4. The Word of God is sweet to the believer in telling of the ultimate salvation to come, and bitter in proclaiming His wrath and judgment on the unbeliever who will not take heed and repent.
