Moses as a Type in the Passover - 2nd Hour

Moses was provided a temporary passover; Christ is the final Passover. Moses was the mediator of the first covenant, as Christ is the mediator of the last covenant. God only revealed safety by the blood to the Israelites, not the Egyptians, just as He reveals the Gospel only to His elect. In type and picture, His redemption connected with His election is revealed to whom He pleases according to His Will. Salvation is only of the Lord, not by the covenant of man's works. Christ satisfied the Law perfectly for His people, establishing their righteousness by imputation.
