34. Millennial Expectations

Within the framework of the book of Revelation, chapter 20 serves as a transition. It scans the whole period between the first and second comings of Christ, and brings all time and history to its just conclusion before the great white throne and him who is seated on it. It introduces us to the post-history and post-time eternal state, a new heaven and a new earth, and a new Jerusalem.
