Reflections upon the real and ever present danger of our own propensity to backslide as Jonah did, constrains us to press ever closer to our Lord Who loves us and gave Himself for us. As we draw closer and closer to the return of Christ may this passage burn in our hearts that we may not be of the number whose love waxes cold in an age of abounding iniquity.
