Exposition on The Book of Hebrews - Part 31

This was the Sunday morning message from Princess Chapel Church in Ashland, KY by the Pastor, Douglas Salyer. This sermon is from the series on the Exposition from the Book of Hebrews.

This message was Part-31, covering Hebrews 11:1-3. This message deals with the matter of faith. What is real saving faith, that which God is please with?

Hebrews 11:1-3
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

We understand that the worlds were framed from the Word of God. "So that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear". All by faith.

But do you really understand what that says?

It says that by faith, you understand and believe that the Son of Man, the Word of God, that died on the Cross, was buried and rose again. Spoke this world into existence from nothing.

He is Sovereign in Creation:

Simply put He is the Creator, and the Creator does as He wills with
His own Creation.
