What it is to be light

We are told that Christians are salt and light. The last sermon looked at what it means to be salt, now we turn to see what it means to be light.

1 The plain fact that we are the light of the world - what light is and what it does eg illuminates, used in surgery and shows beauty and colour - relate that to what Christians are meant to be;

2 We are to shine together;
3 We are also to shine as individuals - wht people hide under bushals;
4 Our light is to gloryfy God. Ref to the lamp in the tabernacle that shown where few would see - it shone on the things that related to God;
