1 Corinthians 18 Paul's Argument from Behavior to Theology

Tonight we're backing away from the details so we can see how Paul thought (under inspiration) and made his argument. When he saw a sinful behavior he always traced it to a theological issue. This connection is very important to catch. Our sinful behaviors can always be traced back to theological errors, misconceptions, failures to truly understand, and perhaps other related concepts. This is why it is SO important to be in the word. It is the word that is the power of God that brings about His purposes in our lives. If it is not in us then we will sin. That is the way it is.
