Jesus Declares His Ascension

On several occasions during his three year ministry Jesus told his disciples about his coming suffering, death, and resurrection. But he also informed them, as we see in John's Gospel, on numerous times of his coming ascension to the Father.
In verse 28 of John 16 we see:

1. Jesus' Preexistence with the Father
2. Jesus' Presence with His People
3. Jesus' Preparation of His Disciples for His Coming Ascension
   All these predictions came true as will all the other predictions Jesus made about the yet-to-be-fulfilled-future.
