Living at the End

This week we want to move on to Peter's next thought, that the end is at hand. He has been telling the scattered Jews about how they are to live in submission to God and other, then how to arm themselves to be ready to suffer. Finally he reminds them again to be holy. They have sinned enough already. Now he addresses their hearts. Are they to be cast down in gloom with the coming persecution and the commands to live in obedience? No, they are to rejoice in the Lord because He is near. Join us as we look at this next section of scripture.
