Series Study in Ephesians
In (v.25) we're confronted with one of the most common of all our sin problems—the sin of LYING… all of us are liars by nature and by practice… Some of us lie more than others… There are three kinds of liars…
1st – There are RELUCTANT or OCCASIONAL LIARS – occasional liars really don't like to lie—but sometimes they feel like they have to—in order to spare themselves or others, the discomfort of the truth…
2nd – THE CARELESS LIAR – these are people who are casual and careless with the truth… For them, the truth is not really that important—unless someone is not being truthful to them… Careless liars sometimes conveniently forget the truth… Other times they embellish, exaggerate, or spin the truth—and in reality, they turn the truth into a LIE…
3rd – THE HABITUAL LIAR – is someone who lies—almost all the time, for almost any reason—or for no reason... Habitual liars are usually pretty good at getting people to believe them…
