A People at the End of the Age

The basis of our hope is the promise of the Glory of God (Romans 5:2), and this hope is made certain by Jesus who has brought in himself ‘the end of the age'. Hope now shapes everything in life - our identity, our security, our place in this world, our vocation. The connection between hope and holiness of living is frequent in the Scriptures; holiness is not an austere bunker mentality, but a joyful participation in what the Father is doing in His world as we look towards the glorious day of the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.
