Rev 8 - The Trumpets of God's Wrath

Once the seven seal is broken there is total silence in heaven for half an hour, an experience humans do not understand. The silence is broken when an angel rains fire from the throne of God. This is followed in order by seven trumpet blasts where God rains down terror on the earth.

Hail and fire, meteors (that look like mountains to John) plummet the seas and the rivers, and darkness from the destruction blots out a third of the sun, the moon, and the stars. This is the beginning of the apocalypse!
