Developing a Consistent Prayer Life
Ephesians 1:15-23
The subject of prayer has been the most written about, preached about, talked about subject, but the least practiced activity in the lives of most Christian men. We understand the importance of prayer, and no doubt the value of developing a
consistent prayer life, yet we still fail to make prayer a vibrant part of our daily walk with God.
Prayer is the most powerful weapon the Lord has given to us, and yet it seems to be the one we use the very least. God does not intend for prayer to be used only in emergencies. He desires that we speak to Him on a daily, moment by moment basis. How would your relationship be with your wife if you only talked to her when you needed her help? Sadly, this is the way many Christian men treat God. They go to Him in prayer when things are going badly or if they need Him for something.
