Series 1 Thessalonians
In 1 Thess. 2:19 Paul speaks of 2 significant doctrines: the "crown" rewards and the "coming" (parousia) of the Lord. In this message the subject of the coming of the Lord Jesus at the rapture of the church is the subject. In this message the symbolism of the Jewish wedding custom is used to point to the various events that have occurred and will occur in the future, pointing to the return of the Lord with a "shout of the archangel."
