The Way of Nimrod

The figure who is called Nimrod followed a way in life that was at odds with the truth of God's revelation. In that vein, he is an echo of Cain, and there is much in common between what the Bible calls "the way of Cain" and the way of Nimrod. Nimrod set himself to defy the commands of God and to establish himself as the king to whom the people of the world should submit themselves. That he was able to extend the reach of his kingdom so far is a testament to the ability he demonstrated to intimidate and to tyrannize other people. The way of Nimrod is still openly manifest in the world of the 21st century.
