Succumbed to Sin but Not Overcome

Tonight we study Thomas Watsons's four answers of comfort to the saint who has yielded to sin and feels overcome by the tempter: do not say there is no hope, for 1) Though a Christian may fall by a temptation, yet the seed of God is in him; 2) Though a child of God may be overcome in a skirmish, yet not in the main battle; 3) God does not judge his children by one action, but by the frame of the heart; 4) God will make a saint's fall by temptation turn to his spiritual advantage.
