Understanding the last things begins by looking back at the beginning of all things. Genesis shows us that history had a beginning, as opposed to other philosophies that portray time as cyclical. Since history had a beginning, God will also bring it to an end. In the midst of history, God is guiding all things through His administration, with a goal in mind.
