Series Life of David
In 1 Chronicles 22, David hands over responsibility for building of the Temple to his son Solomon. David had taken preparations, with personal sacrifice, to accumulate materials and labor. David stated that the Temple "must be exceedingly magnificent," because the progression of God's sacred spaces, where He met with man, always progressed from great to greater.
