God's Word to Those With Nothing

The daunting task of rebuilding the ruined city of Jerusalem appeared so overwhelming that it dismayed the people charged with the work and led them to despair. They lacked the needed financial resources, and they faced the determined opposition of those who hated them and their God. But it was a work that they were called to do, and the prophet of the Lord urged them to move forward with the work. He told them that the Lord had given them the great promise of His blessing.
