Sovereign Election of Grace

In opening the very important epistle to the Ephesians, written to ground the church that Paul planted in the essential doctrines of the gospel, Paul notably begins with the primary essence of the gospel; a doctrine that throughout history has been one of the most hotly debated topics among good Christians, which is that of the exercise of God's sovereign will in the dispensation of His grace. Whose decision is it? Do I choose to be saved, or does God choose me? Like it or not, the Bible is clear; salvation is more a matter of God's will than of ours.
