Ch22 is not really about the prevalence of misunderstanding, or the danger of rushing to judgement, or the hasty resort to arms or the ethos of conflict resolution. Though no doubt these are useful ideas. Which is why the whole chapter is to be studied and why textual preaching can be plain useless. How much is missed. And yes 'Ed' is important, it's what the whole chapter says. But why?
