The Christian and the Law - Part II
Series The Sermon on the Mount
Many Christians today have the mistaken notion that the Old Testament Law and Scriptures are irrelevant to our lives today, and that we don't have to concern ourselves with obeying the OT laws.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Christ expresses His expectation that we should keep the commandments of the OT Scriptures. But how can sinners fulfill the Law? This message identifies three ways in which believers fulfill the Law.
Furthermore, this message explains what Paul means when he says that we are not "under the law, but under grace." The sermon identifies four ways which in which it is true that believers are not "under the law." Along the way, it becomes clear that this expression does not rule out the expectation that believers should keep the Law.
