The Battle is the Lord's

Our Lord Jesus Christ taught those who follow Him that we will face great opposition to the truth in this life. Therefore He gave us this precious promise and encouraged a proper attitude in the midst of adversity when He declared “"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."” (John 16:33). He calls us to exercise our faith in Him through persistent prayer and faithful service as He overcomes the world.
