The Prophet

Jesus is the promised prophet of whom Moses spoke. His word is the word of God. His message is spoken with divine authority. It is the authority of one greater than Moses who is speaking the wisdom of God. Those who hear and obey will live. And they will survive the awful trials and troubles of life. Those who disregard the teaching of Jesus do so at their own peril for this life and the next. As the last and greater Moses, Jesus gives us a choice. He sets before us life and death and urges us, "Choose life."
