7. Discipline Teaches Rules and Limitations

In the book of Genesis, God created Adam and Eve and gave them a limitation. That rule was not to eat of the tree of good and evil or you will die. Parents teaching our children to obey limitations can save their lives. Children will often test our rules and sometimes in order to test our commitment. Rules are good in helping to protect us from evil and living out a Godly life.
