Colossians 3 - Part 20 - Put on Patience or Longsuffering

Our verse begins with three blessings that God has accomplished on our behalf and they precede the things that we are called on to live out in our lives. First He has chosen us, second He has through Christ made us holy before Him and thirdly He has shown His forever love for us by calling us beloved. Now our part as believers is to put on, like clothing, the things that speak of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today we look at the wonderful action of long-suffering or patience. This was so wonderfully displayed in the Lord Jesus as were all these characteristics of godliness.
