Ephesians Chapter 6 Part 2 - Fathers, Do not Provoke Your Children to Anger

Fathers are given great authority and responsibility for the raising of their children as God would have them to be raised. God warns fathers not to use this authority in such a way as to bring about frustration and anger in their children. All discipline is to be under the leading of the Holy Spirit and carried out in a loving and respectful way. The flesh's bent toward anger, arbitrariness, unfairness, inconsistency, and hatred or contempt has no place in the godly raising of children. We must be sure that as we train and discipline our children, they are sure of our love and that we are always totally for them as they grow in the Lord.
