The Scriptures are both the rule and judge of our religion.
- The only infallible (perfect) Interpreter of the Scriptures is the Holy Spirit.
Corollary 1: Confusing, or ambiguous passages in the Bible must be interpreted consistently with the clear passages of the Bible.
Corollary 2: Units of thought, doctrines, and passages in the Scriptures have one true and full sense, not many.
Corollary 3: The Bible's less than clear passages are so for many possible reasons.
