Departure From the Truth to Lies

The greatest danger to the church has, and continues, to come from within by people who profess to be Christians but are not. As hypocrites they are under the influence of their father, the devil, and promote his lies under the guise of telling the truth. This being one of the many ways the devil counterfeits what God does in his ongoing deception while warring against God and His people. The Spirit of God cannot and will not work through lies nor a mixture of the Truth with lies so any tolerance of false teaching is going to nullify the effectiveness of the power of the Word of God to do what He gave it to do. The church has the ongoing responsibility to be 'the pillar and support of the Truth.'
