Speaking The Truth in Love (Part 1)

In a Berean church there has to be a willingness to discuss things. Nothing gets swept under the rug.

In a marriage, you go in knowing there will be disagreements. It is not a commitment to always agree on everything. It is a commitment to work through things.

It is not “agreeing to disagree”
It is agreeing that we disagree, we can continue to discuss it, and we can disagree and still love each other.

In the world someone in a group can even had a bad day, say something stupid, and people will just see it as that. The guy had a bad day and said something stupid.

In the church culture they are terribly offended, want to quit the church, and want that person punished.
