Ephesians Chapter 5 - Imitators of God as Beloved Children

As those who desire to walk worthy of our calling, we have the privilege of imitating our heavenly Father, and His Son. It is the will of God to conform us to the Lord Jesus who is the exact representation of the Father. We have a daily example of this as we watch earthly sons imitate their own fathers sometime for good and sometimes for evil. To walk worthy of our calling is to imitate the Son of God Who is the exact image of the Father.
