Anointing with Oil

It's a sad day when Biblical scholarship is so shallow that passages like the one before us here remain in the shadows of confusion. A proper study of the context, words, specific instructions & illustrations set forth here leave no doubt that this is a call to pray. The probable reason for the tentative expositions is its connection with Mark 6 passage that references the disciples healing & anointing with oil.
