When Young People Leave Home

Judah left home when he was very young and got away from his family. He immediately found a friend who obviously had a lot of influence on him. Very soon he found a woman he liked and he "took her" and they had three sons. Judah immersed his life with the Canaanites and heraised his sons among them. Of course, they turned out wicked, and then Judah began to try to get them to live by the standards he was taught as a boy, but had rebelled against and abandoned. This chapter is not a good story, but there are some very important lessons to learn here.
