Justified By Grace

Being justified is being declared right with God, therefore, it is salvation. Paul had previously made it clear, none of salvation is a consequence of man's decisions or deeds (V 5). Here, he put the cherry on top. He said, literally, "having been declared righteous by the grace [of God]". God gracious election determined "who"; God gracious justification at the Cross determined "when" and "how".
