Ruth's Path and God's Grace

The first chapter of Ruth declares her spiritual poverty. She is a most unlikely person to be shown grace. She said of herself, "I am a stranger". The second chapter declares the path by which Ruth is redeemed and shown grace. The little word "hap" appears, meaning providence, and there's the key. Being providentially at the right place and time, God's sovereign grace found Ruth.
