The culture and God do not agree. The culture tells us to look out for number one, to justify yourself when you are treated badly. Its OK to hate your enemy. Jesus and Paul had to fix this thinking. They teach us that instead, you must love your enemy even before your enemy loveable. The Holy Spirit teaches you to love your neighbor and your enemy is your neighbor.
