Job is a great man, both prosperous and holy. His wealth indicates a city dweller with acres of arable land and trading activity far and wide. His upright behavior is seen in the way he provides for his children sacrificially. In his behavior Job demonstrates obedience to the two great commands: love God and love your neighbor.
