The Singing People of God

In Ephesians 5, one of the results of being filled with the Spirit is addressing one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts to the Lord. As the context of this passage bears out, we must carefully consider what songs we employ in public worship. Our worship is not about pleasing ourselves but honoring God.
