The Gospel is the Power of God to salvation! The essence of the gospel is that Jesus Christ is the Savior who died, was buried, and rose again (1 Cor 15:1-8).
Paul exemplified the Power of God as he was transformed from a persecutor of saints to a proclaimer of the gospel (9-11).
All those in Christ Jesus have eternal life. The dead in Christ are with Him (2 Cor 5:6-8). Yet the bodies that sleep in the ground will rise to life eternal (1 Cor 15:12-28).
