THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT: HONORING GOD'S CREATED LIFE!

I. Killing is far more than murdering

A. We are all ‘killers of our neighbors' in God's criminal code: Matt. 5:21-22

1. We are killers when we don't treat our neighbor's life with the utmost care
2. We are killers when we don't do everything to live peaceably with all men
3. We are killers when we hold any inner desire to see ill on those that hate us
4. We are killers when we don't treat out own life with the utmost care

CLOSING THOUGHTS: Who dares to maintain his innocence this evening?

A. None of us are even “unintentional killers!”

B. Let's not deny this ‘dark reality of our murderous hearts & shady past!'

C. But there is ‘forgiveness' for those who return in genuine repentance!
