II The Perfect

1. A State in which the partial will be done away with.

   Spiritual blessings are partial

The “perfect” will replace the “partial”.

In joy unmeasured, the presence of God will overpower sadness, fears and sorrows in an instant.

“enter into the joy of your Lord.”

"And as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives" Job 19:25

2. We will no longer be immature and weak.

“When I became a man, I did away with childish things.”

Childhood is a state of weakness, fears and dependence.

Inebriated in the love of God we will say in full voice: "My beloved is mine, and I am his; He pastures his flock among the lilies. 17 "Until the cool of the day when the shadows flee away..." Solomon 2:16-17

3. We will know fully.

12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as I also have been fully known

God came to instruct and rebuke Job. Job knew very little compared to us!
Our reply and wonder when we see God – We will get it! And we will see all things clearly.

4. The Perfect is a state of love.

We will be immersed, dipped, surrounded, governed and controlled by love, the love that remains forever, in the presence of the God who is love.

Ephesians 3:17 "so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love"

John 17:26 "And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."

How should we be known. "The greatest of these is love"
